Real Server Training

This started as a creative project for no other reason to create something cool.

I was working in a restaurant as a training manager and figured, why not start here?

The idea was simple: make something down-to-earth and actually useful—something that felt real. It needed to be straightforward, a little bit edgy, and ideally… kind of cool.

Not easy to make serving instruction cool, but somehow, I think we pulled it off.

We released the series on YouTube with zero promotion, and it took off organically.

That led me to explore a few different directions:
• Selling training content to individual servers
• Building internal programs for restaurants
• Helping restaurants recruit front-of-house staff
• Affiliate marketing
• Consulting on operations and training

Eventually I decided to bring it back to where it started: as a free training resource for servers by servers.
